Entry requirements?

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. Potential candidates must however be able to demonstrate they can meet the requirements of the qualification prior to enrolment.



Our Steel Fixing NVQs are delivered on-site by one of our experienced NVQ Assessors. Individuals will be assessed by one of our specialist Construction Managers, the entire process being conducted using a variety of communication methods to suit the individual learner.

The assessment is being made using a portfolio of evidence.


How long is the course?

Our dedicated assessor support will be available for up to one year, however, this qualification will be achieved between 1 to 3 months depending on the motivation of the learner.


Professional recognition and accreditations

After course completion, this qualification leads to a CSCS Skilled Worker Blue Card valid for 5 years with qualification endorsement on the back of the card.
