Is an MHE Licence Required?
Similar to forklifts, there isn’t a formal “MHE licence” in the technical sense. Nonetheless, the phrase is frequently used to refer to a certificate of competency that is granted following successful completion of the relevant MHE training program.
This certificate attests to the fact that you have undergone the appropriate training and evaluation to operate a particular MHE safely.
The majority of certifications are perpetual.
If you’re using new equipment or haven’t operated for a while, your employer might still require conversion courses or refresher training.
