- Position and install construction elements and assemblies

How long does it take and what is involved?
The ECITB Level 3 Diploma is designed to be completed primarily on the job, offering flexibility to suit your schedule. While most learners complete the qualification within 12 months, the timeline can vary based on the time you dedicate and how quickly you can gather the required evidence.
From the start, you will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will guide you through every step of the process. Your assessor will provide ongoing support, answer your questions, and visit you on-site to assist with gathering the necessary evidence to demonstrate your competence.
The assessment process includes a combination of online knowledge tests, practical skills evaluations conducted in your workplace and recorded technical discussions to showcase your expertise and understanding of the qualification’s requirements.
What will you gain from this ECITB Level 3 qualification?
Competent employees are essential for the safe running of engineering construction sites, which is why the ECITB offers the Assuring Competence in Engineering Construction (ACE) card scheme.
When an individual is registered on an ECITB qualification and has a CCNSG Safety Passport, ECITB will automatically issue them with an ACE red learner card.
The ACE scheme is an engineering construction industry safety card that ensures the competence of workers in the UK.
Upon completion of this qualification a Level 3 card is awarded as a combined CCNSG/ACE Card. This allows individuals to move between civil and engineering construction sites with a single card that validates their credentials and is one of 38 partner card schemes of the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS).
