How Much ELCAS Funding Can You Receive?

• Lower Tier funding – up to £1,000 per claim
• Higher Tier funding – up to £2,000 per claim
• Up to three ELC claims may be available in total, subject to eligibility and scheme rules

Learners are normally required to make a personal contribution towards the cost of their chosen qualification.

How to Access ELCAS Funding

3. Confirm that SB Skills Solutions and your chosen qualification are approved for ELCAS funding.
4. Submit your ELCAS claim before starting the qualification, allowing sufficient time for the claim to be processed.
5. Once your claim has been approved, you will receive the relevant authorisation documentation before commencing your training.

Do not pay for or begin an ELCAS-funded qualification before your claim has been authorised, as retrospective claims are not normally permitted.
